Throughout the campaign, I have learnt the significance of becoming acquainted with as many colleagues as possible”

– Lucy WainwrightApprentice

Throughout my apprenticeship, I have had exposure to various accounts. From May to July, I helped to manage the intensifying world of FBC. FBC stands for Fox’s Burton’s Companies and consists of Jammie Dodgers, Party Rings and Maryland.

As the Account Executive, I was responsible for managing the day to day running of the account. This involved monitoring progress across multiple media channels, writing briefs, organising follow up calls and general check ins with the team etc.

In tandem to this, I was leading on Maryland’s OOH campaign which, despite challenges along the way, I would depict as the overall highlight. Leading on OOH allowed me to liaise with external media owners, keep in regular contact with client and build self-confidence. Throughout the campaign, I have learnt the significance of becoming acquainted with as many colleagues as possible.

Whilst this seems like a minor learning, good rapport with people in all departments lends itself as a huge advantage in ensuring tight deadlines are met.

Jammie Dodgers mark the middle child of our biscuit based family. Aimed at ages 8-10 years old, this brand is all about creating harmless mischief and letting kids be kids, all whilst making adults feel like kids again.

The brief today, is to look at how we get Maryland’s personality and brand attitude to shine through on a 6 sheet! We want consumers to see our 6 sheets and retain the information so that when they purchase cookies, Maryland is front of mind.
