Apprenticeship
Standard

Charlotte has brought to the fore the pressing need we have for a Marketing Officer in the climate in which we operate in these days. She had written a complete and full marketing strategy for the charity and created herself a job with us once she completes the apprenticeship.

– Susie Hughes from RSPCAApprentice

Charlotte played a key role in a crowdfunder project for the RSPCA Manchester and Salford Branch, showcasing her creativity and initiative. She designed advertisements and certificates, managed the crowdfunder page, and collaborated effectively with team members to gather critical information. Her ability to work both independently and as part of a team highlights her value as a proactive and skilled apprentice.

“Charlotte completed a very thorough project working towards raising money for RSCPA Manchester and Salford. Charlotte adapted to any changes and took on a great level of responsibility in this role. Charlotte worked with budgets and design to create a comprehensive crowdfunder which achieved targets.”

George Morris – Creative Alliance Development Coach

“Charlotte realised a long-held ambition to trial a Crowdfunder. We hadn’t attempted one previously due to the multifaceted workstreams associated with this fundraising approach. Thanks to the knowledge and skills that Charlotte learnt through the apprenticeship she was able to take the lead, organise the campaign and practice lots of essential marketing skills. Charlotte truly came into her own with the copywriting, assets design and being responsive to the evolving challenges that came with the Crodfunder during the appeal and many months afterwards. Without Charlotte the campaign would not have been a success, but more crucially, we would not have stewarded the donors with such intimacy and authenticity.”

About the Apprenticeship

As part of the Marketing team, the Multi-Channel Marketers will contribute to the planning and implementation of the Marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of a company or agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support marketing strategy development, using data to guide goals and decisions.

  • Create and distribute content across digital and traditional platforms.

  • Analyse campaign performance and report insights for improvements.

  • Engage audiences and contribute to brand messaging.

  • Apply new trends and tools to enhance campaigns

Charlotte applied the knowledge from her apprenticeships to create a successful campaign using the Crowdfunder website. By dedicating time to understand the capabilities of the platform, she created copy and selected images that aligned with the marketing strategy.

The result was a well laid out webpage, that provided users all the information needed regarding the activities of RSPCA and the importance of the fundraising campaign.
