Coatse is a Birmingham producer who has worked with many local and national mainstream music artist. He first got involved in music when began going to a recording studio at a local youth centre in Birmingham called Young Disciples. Learning to produce as a hobby Coatse watched, producers and recording artis to develop his skills. He then brought a mini keyboard and learnt how to play. Firstly, with two fingers and then picking it up to play with both hands just through his own practice and watching others.

Coatse then went on to join a group by the name of ILLFAM as its producer. One of the group’s first songs titled Anyone Can Get It was Coatse first beat shown to the public which, became a well know song across Birmingham and the West Midlands. He then began producing for other local artist and made a name for his unique style in producing.

Coatse began taking his producing more seriously and started selling his beats online. He opened his own studio and began supporting local musicians who went on to become mainstream recording artists. Through a growing need for some of the musicians, he was supporting he learned to use photoshop to develop the artwork for their covers. His beats were heard by music artists nationally and globally which, has allowed him to work with musicians all over the world.
